LU – LUBRICANTS AND PARTING AGENTS FOR LIGHT ALLOYS DIECASTING: ALUMINIUM, MAGNESIUM, ZINC.
Products included in the diecasting series cover all specific needs of foundries.
Products for moulds and other mechanical parts of the presses make Foundry Ecocer a partner, controlling chemistry and components with sensitivity to multiple potential quality and environmental problems via continuous effort of every player in the dedicated staff.
Laboratory has state of the art instruments to check raw materials and finished goods, field technicians are daily evaluating customer needs and trying to improve quality of products and solving potential problems due to various potential causes.
START UP
Series include oils, greases and others used to improve cold mould start up.
METAL REMOVAL-ANTISOLDERING COMPOUND
Greases and oils of various types, aggressive against metal sticking on the mould.
PARTING AGENTS FOR MOULDS
In this series we have emulsions, lubricants and release agents helping to fill the mould, remove the cast piece, cooling of mould, enhancing surface finishing.
Combination of properties leads to a reduced use of lubricant.
FC DETACH series, available for low, intermediate and high temperatures, respectively mineral, synthetic and semi-synthetic based, help improving production cycle and reduce mold wear due to high lubricating properties.
PLUNGER LUBRICATION
FC PLUNGER series: mineral and synthetic oils, with and without pigments.
Available in various viscosity and chemistry, are best used with automatic spray systems.
FC PLASTCOTE GR series: greases for critical applications
FC PLUNGER series in drops: dry lubricants, with and without pigments.
PINS, MALES AND MOVING PARTS
FC PLASTCOTE GR series, to be used on moulds and diecasting equipment: primarily greases, with and without pigments.
It’s possible to have them in a range of chemistry changing bases and additives, to solve all lubrication and sticking problems.
OLEODYNAMIC FLUIDS FOR HYDRAULIC UNITS
FC SAFE PLUS series (Water – glycol): high wear resistance properties.
Series includes equipment cleaning products in case of replacement of fluids or long shutdown periods.
AUXILIARIES
Additives to avoid foam, bacteria and corrosion to activate parting emulsions used in automatic lubrication systems.
Washing and degreasing products for cast pieces and moulds, to get rid easily of grease and lubricant sticking to surfaces.
Greases to protect moulds during inactivity periods.
PARTING AGENTS FOR ZINC ALLOYS
FC DETACH series: water or solvent based, used to lubricate Zinc alloys casting moulds.
Different products available for diecasting either in hot or cold chamber.
LU – TECHNICAL SERVICE
Our technical service use a thermal imaging camera for evaluating the customer’s appropriate lubrication requirements depending on the different temperatures of the mold.
The use of the thermal imaging camera facilitates the adjustment of the process parameters in a non destructive way, provides to optimize the use of lubricant and the correct dilution avoiding metallization effects and cold joints.
LU –POURING CUPS PROTECTION
Pouring cups, if not protected, are subject to high wearing.
Products used to protect metallic or ceramic cups allow:

WATER BASED
PLASTCOTE series, usable for ceramic or metallic cups, can be insulating or Boron Nitride based.
Various possibilities of insulating grade and raw materials allow for top performance in any application.
OIL BASED
PLASTCOTE series, usable for metallic cups.
Various viscosities available allow for top performance in any application.
LU – BILLET CASTING
During casting of billets you reach critical friction conditions between molten metal and the mould due to filling of the mould and shrinking of the billet subsequent to cooling.
This series of lubricants is wide enough to allow for choosing of the best potential product between the different options for cooling, lubrication and insulation.
GREASES FOR LUBRICATION OF BILLET COLLAR
PLASTCOTE series, with or without pigment: high viscosity and high melting point, reduce friction during billet casting.
LU – LUBRICANTS FOR EXTRUSION OF ALUMINIUM AND COPPER ALLOYS
During billet extrusion you reach high friction between metal and die.
We have different products available to lubricate plunger, shear, moving parts, which allow for:
- local lubrication without waste
- high metallic surfaces adhesion
- low fumes emissions.
FC STICK
Solid lubricants: recommended for local usage on hot metallic surfaces in billet extrusion.
Lower consumption without dripping and fumes elimination is a plus obtained via local application of the lubrication.
Highly recommended for plunger, shears, extrusion dies and moving metallic parts.
FC STICK can be supplied in various shapes, dimensions and weights, to satisfy even the most critical need.
PLASTCOTE GR
Graphite based greases, recommended for hot metallic surfaces, especially lubrication of the billet extrusion piston, shears, extrusion dies, moulds.
BORON NITRIDE SPRAY, PULVEGRAF 600 SPRAY
This spray is a proven lubricant and release agent, graphite or boron nitride based.
NIBOR
Lubricants and parting agents in powder shape, Boron Nitride based, used to reduce friction and wear of surfaces.
Applicable for extrusion dies and billets ready to be extruded.
Static spray gun is the way to use these products.
PLASTCOTE EST
Protective lubricant, water based, for billet extrusion dies in aluminium and copper industry.
Main property is to create an homogeneous layer on treated surfaces and wear is uniform.
Avoids fumes and dust creation during parting agent application thus reducing consumption.
LU – HOT FORGING AND METAL WORKING
HOT FORGING OF STEEL, COPPER ALLOYS AND ALUMINIUM
PLASTCOTE series: water based with graphite addiction, improves thermal conductivity, keeping moulds cooler.
This series allows for very low friction coefficients even with very thin lubricant layers.
Water based products avoid oil fumes during cycle.
FC DETACH series: oil based, high viscosity and thermal resistance is the most suitable for critical temperature and pressure conditions.
PARTING AGENTS water based
PLASTCOTE series, water based with different viscosities. Spray gun usage, manual or automatic, they create a layer of lubricant which protects surface.
