CE – PRESHAPED CERAMICS ECOISOL
nsulating preshaped ceramics, designed for Aluminium industry. Used in contact with molten metal, to transfer liquid Aluminium in casting process as: feeders, spouts, thimbles, ladles, cups, spacers and special applications.
ECOISOL preshaped are subject to heat treatment at a suitable temperature before shipment, to achieve best mechanical properties at low density.
Good properties allow for machining of the preshaped (turning, boring and sawing).
High insulating properties and low density of the ECOISOL series give a very low thermal expansion, allowing for an easier installation and removal.

During preshapes installation, running or maintenance, it’s possible to use appropriate ceramics to achieve proper conditioning. Product properties can be adjusted to meet specific needs.
Products have high adhesion and thermal insulation to restore preshapes properties.
During use in contact with molten metal, all surfaces have to be protected with paints to avoid metal sticking.
Protection with appropriate paints gives a very smooth surface, non wettable by molten metal.
